Body Worn Camera

The Belvidere Police Department in accordance with New Jersey Attorney Generals Office Directive 2021-5, implemented the use of Watch Guard Body Worn Cameras(BWC) to go a long with the current patrol vehicles equipped with the Watch Guard Mobile Video Recorder. All patrol officers are issued a BWC that is positioned on their outer most portion of their uniform.

Major Discipline 

The New Jersey Attorney General's Office requires all law enforcement agencies to post their agencies Major Discipline yearly reports, to include the names of all officers who are terminated, demoted, or suspended for more than five days as a result of an Internal Affairs Investigation.
