2023 Rules and Regulations


  1. We reserve the right to modify the pool hours due to variable conditions, including closing the pool due to weather, government ordinances, or other unforeseen reasons.
  2. No refunds for any reasons.  Memberships are not transferable.
  3. Entry to Pool grounds is granted on a first come, first serve basis, no reservations.
  4. Contact information will be collected for Membership.  The Pool Committee reserves the right to modify any Rules and Regulations at any time.
  5. No running on concrete decks or walkways
  6. Footwear must be worn in the restrooms.
  7. Any child who cannot swim MUST be accompanied by an adult in water over their head.
  8. There is NO LIFEGUARD on duty by the Baby Pool and children must be accompanied by an adult!  The Baby Pool is for children 5 years and younger.
  9. Please do not bring valuables to the pool.
  10. Alcohol and other dangerous substances are prohibited at the BCP.  Anyone in possession or under the influence of such substances will be removed immediately without refund and local authorities will be contacted.
  11. Smoking and vaping inside the Pool grounds is strictly prohibited.
  12. Glass containers are prohibited.
  13. The Pools and surrounding decks will be cleared immediately if lighting or thunder is detected. The pool will remain closed until 30 minutes after a thunder episode or 45 minutes after the last visible lighting strike.
  14. The BCP must comply with current and future COVID_19 regulations promulgated by the Federal government, the State of New Jersey, the CDC, and the Department of Health and Human Services.
  15. Any person showing evidence of any communicable skin disease, sore or inflamed eyes, colds, nasal or ear discharges, or any other communicable disease shall be denied admission.  Any person with excessive sunburn, open blisters, cuts, or bandages shall be denied admission.
  16. Please stay home if you are not feeling well or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
  17. Do not enter the water if you are experiencing or recovering from diarrhea or have had any signs or symptoms of a gastrointestinal (stomach) disease in the past seven days.
  18. Do not spit are discharge bodily fluids in the Pool.
  19. All children in diapers must wear diapers specifically designed for immersion in water (such as swimming diapers) Do not wash out soiled diapers in the bathing waters.  Failure to abide by these Rules and Regulations may result in temporary or permanent expulsion from the premises.
  20. Children should be encouraged to use the restroom before entering the water.  Immediately report any “accidents” you observe in the bathing waters to the lifeguard.
  21. Children 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times, while on BCP property.
  22. No animals, except service animals, shall be allowed on the premises.
  23. Conduct that endangers the safety or comfort is prohibited.  Rough play is not allowed anywhere in the Pool grounds.  Profane language is prohibited.   Fighting with or harassing another patron is prohibited and local authorities will be contacted.
  24. Mermaid tails are allowed in the Baby Pool only.
  25. Flotation devices are prohibited in the deep end and diving well.  All balls, inflatables and toys must be approved by a Pool Manager and not shared with non-family members.
  26. Chairs and parked strollers not allowed on the pool deck.
  27. Only one person at a time is allowed on the diving board and slide. Obey all Rules and Regulations for the use of these apparatuses.
  28. Do not hang on any ropes or lane lines.
  29. Diving is permitted only in the diving well.
  30. Open fires and grills are prohibited from the BCP grounds, including the parking lot.
  31. Littering is prohibited.  Dispose of all trash and recycling in the correct proper receptacles. Cleanup after yourself to allow others to enjoy.
  32. Vandalism is prohibited and will result in immediate expulsion from the BCP.
  33. All persons using BCP facilities do at their own risk. The BCP will not be responsible for any accidents or injury in connection with such use.
  34. By purchasing a Pool membership or a Day Pass, you have expressly agreed that you understand the Rules and Regulations of the BCP and agree to abide by these rules, which may be updated at any time and must be adhered to.
