You may place your brush curbside March 29th through April 5th. Pick-up will begin on April 6th. If you see that the brush on your street has been picked up, please do not put brush out as we will not be returning to that street. This collection will be for brush only (up to six feet in length and six inches in diameter and piled neatly to expedite pick-up), no stumps, grass, leaves. etc. Brush consists of small sticks/twigs/branches. Any tree/brush removal on your property is your responsibility to remove. Also, please do not bring brush or leaves to the DPW yard at this time. The brush dumpster has been removed do to misuse by some. The brush dumpster will return but a schedule has yet to be determined. Unfortunately, the dumpster will now be in a gated/camera area and only available during scheduled times. Pursuant to Chapter 498 of the Code of the Town of Belvidere, violators may be cited.
There is no scheduled pick-up of leaves in the spring but the DPW will pick up leaves upon request within reason, (909-475-5331 or jstout [at] belvidere-nj.org (jstout[at]belvidere-nj[dot]org)). The leaves must be bagged in biodegradable bags and placed curbside.
